You found these in Word ? That is surprising. Where ?

But they're not displaying properly for me. Did you copy and paste? Strange symbols in the maths lines are causing syntax errors with the Latex. How does it appear for others ?

So they are. Amazing.

But they don't convert nicely into Latex format so they're not displaying properly for me.

Oh you don'tknow ??? So how did you post them ?

If you put square brackets math <some stuff> square brackets /math

then what you put for <some stuff> goes to a LaTex interpreter and is rendered into math symbols. But you have to follow the syntax as with any script. Have a look at

Okay... is latex some kind of code formatting that is used to power the site?
I don't know how it does that... it just keeps saying "math?"
I enter the code with square brackets with math and /math and I put the stuff inside... wait... did you say you need<example>?

This is weird. I tried to add the <> and the same thing happened: math?
And now I clicked on the link and boom! The <> were added to the equation.

Oh sorry. I've confused you. Let's say I want the square root of 5.

You don't put √5 in Latex. rather do \sqrt{5}
