I have read your last post, but I still don't know why these emails are not getting through.
I have thought that it might be a problem with our ISP. I could try sending an email to Bob

My email to Bob has got through and he has replied and that has got through.
Your email that you have just sent has not got through.

So I think we will have to discuss things on this website instead.

There are several sub topics that occur to me to do with decimals such as:
(1) Rounding (eg. round 3.54, 2.78 and 3.17 to 1 decimal place)
(2) Putting numbers in the right order (eg. 3.06, 3.60, 3.006, 3.0606)
(3) Arithmetic using decimals (add, subtract, multply, divide)
(4) Understanding things like that 0.01 is ten times as big as 0.001 and other things to do with place value.

Right now I need to get an idea of how well you understand this already.
Look at the right hand column of the addition. You will see that clearly 6 + 5 = 11 and that the "units" bit of it has been put
into the answer box as "1". Under the addition a "1" has been carried.

In the next column the addition is 2 + 3 (which would usually be 5), but there is one to carry meaning that 6 goes in the answer.
2 + 3 + 1 = 6
OK ?
