The [/math] bit at the end had the slash going the other way. I have used \times instead of an x.

Hi which button do you press to get it to change so you can see if you are right or not?

The first one of those has [/math] at the start, but it should be just [math]. It has an "s" on the end of the one at the end.
The one at the end should be / not \ before math.
The second one has the [\math] with the slash the wrong way round. Try using the "edit" option.
The "preview" button can be used to check the post.
A good way to get the slashes the right way round would be to use the "Math" button at the right hand end of the
little rectangles underneath the window for the post.
