I don't know much about statistics so I'm not sure how complex this problem is but:
I have a deck of 9 cards, and I have 3 favorite cards in the deck. I choose 3 cards at random from the deck. What is the probability that at least one of the 3 random cards is a favorite card?
If someone can show me how to get to the answer, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi;
The distributions in statistics are a great help in solving many probability problems.
If you are not replacing the cards then you use the hypergeometric distribution.
The probablility is 16 / 21.
In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
Always satisfy the Prime Directive of getting the right answer above all else.
