Learning Trigonometry
Hi everyone,
What's the best way to learn trigonometry? The basics like sine, cosine and tangent?
I want tips and stuff and how you learnt it.

Start with a right triangle.

It is not going to be hard unless you try to prove the stupid and complicated trig identities.

1 radian = 180 / π degrees

Look at the animation, shows what 1 radian is.

Precalculus - Concepts throughout functions a unit circle approach to trigonometry.
If you are done with algebra (from Sullivan's other book), you can go to Precalculus by Sullivan.
You kind of have to go through the chapters mostly in order.

A radian cuts off an arc length that is equal to the radius of the circle.

We are more familiar with degrees but math likes radians.

I got selected. My school is teaching me, but the way they teach is odd. They will skip here and there.

Radians is pure mathematics? I'm learning on how to convert degrees to minute. Before I go, do we necessarily need a calculator for trigonometry?
