(1) 1/4 = 1/4 × 10/100 = 10/100 = 10%

(2) 3/4 = 3/4 × 25/100 = 75/100 = 75%

(3) 1/5 = 1/5 × 20/100 = 20=100 = 20%

(4) 3/5

(5) 1/25 = 1/25 × 4/100 = 40/100 = 40%

(6) 188/400 = 188/40000 ÷ 4/100 = 47/100 = 47%

(7) 44/200

(8) 75/300

(9) 380/1000

(10) 45/200

I have done some hope they are right if not show me why they are wrong please?

Not correct. This is what you should have done:

(2) 3/4 = 3/4 × 25/100 = 75/100 = 75%

correct!

(3) 1/5 = 1/5 × 20/100 = 20=100 = 20%

(4) 3/5

You have done 1/5 correctly. 3/5 will be three times as big.

(5) 1/25 = 1/25 × 4/100 = 40/100 = 40%

Why did you add a zero? 4% was correct.

(6) 188/400 = 188/40000 ÷ 4/100 = 47/100 = 47%

correct!

(7) 44/200

The last four questions are all ones you have met in earlier posts so have a look back.

(8) 75/300

You have to get the code exactly right. The % sign isn't recognised but \% is.

It should be \times not \time.

And sometimes the spaces matter too. I put a space before and after \times to make that work.

Now to the problem itself.

It is not right yet I'm afraid.

The ?? must be the same as the number below it .... 20

Excellent. These three are all correct.

For Q14 the bottom number (20) must be times by something to make 100.

You can find the number by doing this on a calculator:

Once you have this number, times the top by the same.

For Q15 you can do a similar thing.
