I do not know how a CAS finds the coefficient of the terms.

There is actually sublime mathematics associated with getting the coefficients. Many you can do by hand using Taylor series and spectral series and recurrences and sums... And M can help you!

An exponential gf is a permutation so multiply the coefficient of x^4 by 4! and see what you get?
