On other forums this question is immediately closed down and the OP barred. If we are to maintain a high standard too then I am forced to at least keep it moderated. This is extremely difficult to do because this topic attracts people who are looking for it. As a matter of fact it is usually the same guy under different usernames. A fellow that has been barred from here at least 30 times.
I feel that one thread of this is enough. Is there some reason that this thread is not enough to explain everyone's position?

No sorry, was not suggesting multiple threads nor did I realize this was the open thread, I thought this was supposed to be only for the (infinity)x thing and that seemed pretty much answered since I didn't see anymore counter arguments to it. Saying it was open afterwards caused me to ask about it.

But Nature flies from the infinite, for the infinite is unending or imperfect, and Nature ever seeks an end. -Aristotle
Everything makes sense, one only needs to figure out how. -[unknown]

It was a very unpleasant time and thankfully it is over. This thread was left open because the OP seemed sincere in asking about this rather than someone who just wanted to insult as many members as he could.

We have not had a heated argument in this forum for a while.
'And fun? If maths is fun, then getting a tooth extraction is fun. A viral infection is fun. Rabies shots are fun.'
'God exists because Mathematics is consistent, and the devil exists because we cannot prove it'
I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Arguments are for pro basketball not for math forums. Bad behavior is not tolerated.
