Re: Coding

Hi Agnishom;

Partially and partially not. The statement is ambiguous enough to wonder what is in the half and what is not.

I think and I hope that it does not include relativity

They are both dead so his exact meaning is gone forever. But let me add that every school kid knows about Einsteins theory of relativity. Much of Tesla's work on the other hand is top secret in this country. Even 100 years after he did it!

Re: Coding

"Top Secret"
Why?
Is it related to weapons?

The colour purple is often associated to royalty and the luxury they live in.

Btw, you wouldn't believe how proud my people are that Tesla was from here. They are even making two TV shows about his life!

The military only thinks in terms of weapons. But the ideas can be used for many things, health, propulsion, power supply...

They will only touch upon a minuscule portion of his intellect and still he will rate way ahead of his time.

That's nice but unfortunately I don't known enough about Tesla

Greed and power makes more decisions than clever reasoning.

Re: Coding

I have coded in a variant of BASIC, Java, and Python. I'm only at the beginner level at all three however.  When I have the free time, I usually code in Python due to it's simple syntax structure.

Re: Coding

Leo, if you want to learn a powerful yet extremely easy language, you should try Just Basic. And for web development, Run Basic. Just Basic is written in Small Talk and is completely free. Afterwards, you can try Liberty Basic for a minimal price.

Re: Coding

I have a good experience of C , C++ (In Depth smile )  and JAVA. C and C++ are good to learn in the beginning as it is a base of coding and once you are done with C/C++ completely ... You can learn basics of most of the languages like JAVA , C# etc in approx 2 days.

Re: Coding

True, but I can say that with any language. Once you have the basics of programming under your belt, it's all just about syntax.

What languages do you guys code in? As for me: BASIC, JB(Just Basic), RB (RunBasic), VB (Visual Basic), COBOL, FoxPro, Liberty Basic (LB), Python, C#, C, C++ and Java. That was compiler and IDE based. As for web: HTML (no duh!), CSS (no duh x2! (not factorial)), PHP, ASP.net, JS, Ajax and Flash. I am fluent in most so...

It is funny how in the past 2 years, I have almost exclusively been using MATLAB, Mathematica, C++ and Fortran (also somewhat Java and Python, although I'm getting less and less impressed with the scientific computing abilities of those two languages, although Python isn't too bad). Obviously that led me to forget the specific details of most of the other languages, except C and PHP (at least I think).

Hi;

I am new to coding and I did not understand the meaning of module.
