In problems like this, the first thing to is to reduce the fraction to its lowest terms:

[*]

[/*]
[/list]

so you’ll be doing the following long division:

[list=*]
[*]

[/*]
[/list]

If the denominator ends with one or more 0, you can shift the decimal point in the numerator to get rid of the 0:

[list=*]
[*]

[/*]
[/list]

giving

[list=*]
[*]

[/*]
[/list]
