Hello,
I am working on Beestar worksheets for 4th grade, "Coverting Decimals to Fractions #2."
There is a problem that I am stuck on and I have no idea how they arrived at the answer on the answer sheet.
The problem is .428571
I followed the instructions on MIF and ended up with 428571/1000000 which I could not reduce any further.
The answer according to Beestar is 3/7 which I know is right since I divided it and got back to the original number
My problem is that I don't know how to get 3/7.
I hope this is clear. Can someone help me understand?
Thank you.
