Learning at once

Now I'm studying complex numbers and I want to start learn another chapter about integrations  is it a right way to study both chapters at once?

I don't see why not.  At University I had a lecture from 9 until 10 on differential equations; then 10 until 11 on linear algebra.

Sometimes taking a break from one topic and trying another gives the first times to 'settle in'.

Not so much flexibility as 'settlement' time.  For me ideas sometimes take a while to sink in.
