Hello,
I have solved this exercise as follows:
x^2 + 49 < 14x
7^2 + 49 < 14(7)
49 + 49 < 98
98 < 98 X
This inequality is not true, because 98 is equal to 98.
What is there more to solve?
Thank you,
Jade

Hi jadewest,
The solution is +7, and it is no longer in inequality.

So you have to conclude there are no solutions to the inequality as it has < not ≤
