Could you please help me figure out how to  find the m values from a graph table points or written statement?

"m" is the gradient of the line. You can read Equation of a Straight Line which is all about "y=mx+b", and also Gradient of a Line which explains how to figure out "m".

Zazu, it's perfectly OK if you'd like to share a link to another maths resource and there is a dedicated subforum -- Maths Teaching Resources -- for doing just that (and we will be happy to support you in doing so).
