C and D each 1.5 x A
How much does B get?
*
I can get the correct answer. But I still have one question. I'll leave it for now.
How would you go about solving this?

hi paulb203
I would proceed like this:
Let A's amount be x. => B's is 3.5x
C = 1.5x = D
=> x + 3.5x + 1.5x + 1.5x = 360 => 7.5x = 360 => x = 360/7.5 = 720 / 15 = 48
Check A = 48; B = 168; C = 72; D = 72 total = 48 + 168 + 72 + 72 = 360 tick
