Rules of Signs For Fractions

Let x and y be two numbers.

Then I can say the following:

x/-y = -x/y = -(x/y)

If this is true, I can then say that 5/-6 = -5/6 = -(5/6).

You say?

Can we apply rules of signs to expressions and functions?

Thank you for taking this journey with me. I am happy with my decision to return to Chapter 1. I better take time out to read chapter lessons or else put all my books away. Since I am unemployed (and will be for a few more weeks), reading chapter lessons should be no problem, no stress at all.
