What are your thoughts concerning the math for dummies book series?

Examples:

Algebra For Dummies

Precalculus For Dummies

Etc.........

Only the workbook is not completed. lack of explanation. Thats why i orderd the algebra 1 book next to the workbook.

I think it is an interesting concept. I am just skeptical that a big franchise with so many books will actually write good books for all of those topics

Are you saying that regular algebra textbooks are better than math for dummies books?

Do you believe that regular math textbooks are better structured to learn mathematics? Do you agree that regular math textbooks are not easy to grasp?
