What are your thoughts concerning the math for dummies book series?

Examples:

Algebra For Dummies

Precalculus For Dummies

Etc.........

Only the workbook is not completed. lack of explanation. Thats why i orderd the algebra 1 book next to the workbook.

I think it is an interesting concept. I am just skeptical that a big franchise with so many books will actually write good books for all of those topics
