It's not possible to answer the question. Situations exist that satisfy the conditions and that have s>0 and s<0, or even s=0. We need more information to choose an option.
Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.

Am I reading this right?
If so, then rs can be anything and still greater than 0.
