function problem please check
f(x)=5xsqured -3x+1findf(-2)
f(-2)=5(-2)squared - 3(-2) +1
5(4)-3(-2)+1=20-(-6)+1=14+1=15 correct?

your mistake was that you did -(-6) = -6, rather than -(-6) = +6
