Okay, x = −1 is a solution. Take out the factor (x+1) and try and spot another solution in the smaller cubic equation.

First we use synthetic division..
then we also use the same mathod with another number -2
to solve
now we can factor
or use the quadratic equation to solvethe solution set (3.-2.-1.4)
