what do they call this ?
there is a theorem we learnt in the school says :
lim ( ( x ^ n ) - ( a ^ n ) ) / ( ( x ^ m ) - ( a ^ m ) ) = ( n / m ) * a ^ ( n - m )

i wana know what do they call this theorem in english ?!

I dont know what they call this result either but it can be proved using lHòpitals rule.
