Quote: " Atmosphere up to 1km in 1 meter steps: 1000
Surface of the earth in 1km squares: 500,000,000
Hence number of "chunks" = 500,000,000,000 (half a trillion chunks)
Minutes in a week: 10,080
So you need to run the "how does each chunk affect its neighbors" routine about 5,000,000,000,000,000 times (5 thousand trillion times)
In reality they are probably forced to run the programs at less accuracy than that, because the computer can't handle it!
fine u got me on the 5 trillion problem question...
If that's some computer download that does your homework for you, i need one of those.
Quote: "Im sure there are substances that kill 100% of all germs maybe concentrated hydrofluoric acid or caesium hydroxide but honestly. do you really want something that is as powerful as that, when all you need is to get rid of a few germs?"
my answer to that is yes.
yea but i highly doubt that you need to do over five trillion problems to solve that. maybe five million, or maybe even five billion i will smile upon. but five trillion? there's no way i would believe that unless Einstien came up to me and showed me every step.
perhaps if domestos paid .001 percent more then they do right now to make their products, they could have that .001 percent of germ killing in the product and we would be happy for the rest of eternity!
why would a computer need to solve like five trillion problems in a second? five trillion users?
it's obviously 3D, otherwise it would be a piece of paper of something (like the mobious strip picture) and it would be 2D.
