f(x)
let f(x) = x + 3 and g(x) = x^2 + 1
find: (f-g)(3)
i did>
f(x) = x + 3
- g(x) = x^2 + 1
----------------------------
(f-g)(x) = x+3-(x^2+1)
= x - x^2 - 2
(f-g)(3) = 3 - 3^2 - 2
= 3 - 9 - 2
= -8
is the answer
