How much of a 14% peroxide solution should be added to 89 ounces of a 47% peroxide solution to get a 29% solution?
Then: (89*.47 + x*.14)/(89+x) = .29 (x = weight of additional peroxide solution)
Since: Weight peroxide divided with total weight is the peroxide level.
89*.47 + x*.14 = .29(89 + x)
89*.47 - 89*.29 = x - x*.14 = 0.86x
89*(.47-.29)/0.86 = x
x = ounces
Peroxide is a poison, right?
**Corrected mistake. Sorry.**

Maybe it's clearer to see how the equation came to be

89 * (.47 - .29) = 1.14x
89 * 0.18 = 1.14x
16.02 = 1.14x
x = 14.05263158
x = 14.05 ounces

Actually, I was wrong, so you looked at me and you got it all wrong, and ever since, everything was wrong and it's not the first time and you should have seen it and spontanious things like this should be checked out and I hope your herbs did not die. But I didn't like antibug spray anyway. You could say it bugs me.
I'm sorry.
