inversely proportional

A formula representing the statement “q is inversely proportional to the cube root of p and has a positive constant
of proportionality.

the answer was

but I thought the answer would be :-

q = 1/k * p^(1/3)

k is the constant
in book manual solution from where he got the "8" number?

Re: inversely proportional

Because it's inverse proportion the term with p must be at the bottom of a fraction.

As k is just a number, writing 1/k doesn't satisfy the question.  It's the p term that has to be at the bottom of the fraction.

I've no idea where 8 comes from.  To change k into a number you have to be told one pair of q and p values.
