What's the question here? Do you want to draw the graph, find points where it crosses the axes, find any turning points or asymptotes it may have? I can't really help you too much if you don't give a question.
At the moment, I can just give you this hint that will probably help out a bit:
Consider what happens when instead of 1/2, you write 2[sup]-1[/sup]. Then use the laws of indices to make that a simple expression as a power of 2.
