I ususally have difficulty with my weekly math assignments, but this weeks is fairly easy...except when it comes to describing and reading tables and graphs. For some reason I just can't wrap that concept around my brain. Oh well...Anyways, I do not know what to do with this problem...Any help?
b. Interpret the median and the interquartile range for each distribution...
it gives me the table but i am unsure on how i "interpret" the median and interquartile range...?"
Interquartile range = Q3 - Q1
Where Q1 is lower quartile, Q3 is upper quartile.
The median is also known as Q2
The interquartile range helps you to understand how spread out the set of the data
The median the middle number of your data set.
1. Interquartile range is used to measure the spread of the data set
2. The median is used to measure the centre of data set
well i thank you for your help but i figured it out about 10 minutes after i posted it...lol =]
